Our Story

I’m Greg Brown. Born and raised in South Austin,

I was always a country kid. Fishing the Texas coast, floating the Guadalupe, camping the hill country and attending every “Texas Country concert I could, I loved all the adventures spent with friends and family. I graduated with a business degree from Texas State in 2004 and after cubicle grinding for a few months, decided to go back to work for Dad in his plastics molding company in 2006. Over the next 10 years, we really focused on growing the business and the efficiency of the operation and I learned a lot about the product development process, specifically in the plastic space.

The idea for RANCH ROAD was born

after a trip to our ranch in Lampasas. We’re always carrying some sort of gear in the back of the truck, whether it be gas cans, hunting buckets, or deer corn. Upon arriving at the ranch, all of our gear had slid, banged or crashed and was spread all over the bed of my truck. So, after wasting time cleaning up, I thought there must be a better way to travel with gear in your truck and not arrive with a disaster in your bed. After searching online, I found a few things but nothing that really worked for me – I didn’t want a full bed drawer system that takes up too much space or a flimsy fabric organizer that should be used in a minivan, not a man's truck. So we said to ourselves, “why don’t we do it ourselves!” Fast forward a couple years and RANCH ROAD is your solution. Designed for recreational enthusiasts, by recreational enthusiasts with decades of experience in the plastics manufacturing world. A perfect combination for a badass product that will keep your gear organized.

The design

fits inside the wheel wells of most full-size trucks, manufactured to fit both flat beds and utility trailers. Large design measures in at roughly 24” x 48” x 12” tall, with the open top system allowing for taller objects such as fuel cans, buckets, or propane tanks to fit with ease. The flexibility comes in the way of dividers and subdividers, designed to fit every 6” around the perimeter of the Case. Each Divider has its own design to allow other sub-dividers to connect, making various size compartments- from small spaces to large spaces. Additionally, the straddle straps latch over to provide additional securing from divider to case for the bumpier, more aggressive rides. The 6 large, non-skid rubber feet on the bottom help prevent the system from sliding around during transit, and the additional tie down straps provide that extra peace of mind. The rope and rubber handles on the ends provide an easy solution for transporting the system. This makes the system easy to move in and out if you need to remove it for large loads in your bed. Secure the system to your bed with an optional security cable.
